The heart processes 70% more electromagnetic impulses than the brain. Yet we spend so much time thinking, about this, about that. When we think about our lives, we might as well be asleep for we are not present in the present moment.

The process of awakening involves walking the within path, the path that goes deep within us on a journey to our essence where are being who we really are. Along this path we go from living in our heads where we think about life, down into our hearts where we are feeling our feelings, and finally into our navel where we are being who we really are in each moment.

A first step on the path is to become aware of our breathing. When we focus our mind on our breathing is brings us into our hearts where we begin to experience our feelings. "I am the One who is inhaling and exhaling." Play with this. Count how many times a day you remember to be aware of your breathing, or how many times you forget. The Buddha said if we are aware of our breathing for one hour we will experience enlightenment.

We can experience our true nature, that of being the light of Oneness. We are light energy of Spirit experiencing life in material form, not our minds, our feelings, or our bodies. So lets enjoy ourselves.
